Dos de los tres agentes municipales de Mexicali capturados por la Fiscalía General del Estado de Baja California, por su presunta relación con delitos de alto impacto, ya fueron vinculados a proceso. Se trata de Víctor Manuel “N” y Joel “N”.
La fiscal general, Ma. Elena Andrade Ramírez, informó que, al menos, estos dos policías están relacionados con delitos como homicidio calificado, homicidio en grado de tentativa, abuso de autoridad y desaparición de personas, entre otros. Además, señaló que los hechos por los que fueron detenidos datan de años anteriores.

“Tanto Joel ‘N’ como Víctor Manuel ‘N’, los cuales ya fueron procesados por homicidio calificado y homicidio en grado de tentativa, son por delitos de alto impacto, además de las detenciones en flagrancia que se hicieron en su momento”, afirmó la fiscal.
Existe un tercer agente de la policía municipal detenido por la fiscalía; sin embargo, Andrade Ramírez no quiso ofrecer más detalles del caso, debido a que —según explicó— la carpeta de investigación aún se está robusteciendo.

Se informó también que existen más carpetas de investigación contra elementos municipales, así como diversas órdenes de aprehensión que se estarán cumplimentando en los próximos días, como parte del operativo de depuración de la corporación, al menos en la capital de Baja California.
“Esa información no te la puedo proporcionar, hasta que ustedes se estén enterando de las detenciones que estaremos llevando a cabo, pero sí son varios agentes de la policía municipal que, aun así, es la minoría”, señaló Andrade Ramírez.
Cabe recordar que el secretario de Seguridad, Laureano Carrillo Rodríguez, comentó que dicho operativo se realiza en coordinación con acciones a nivel federal, y aseguró que no se trata de una “cacería”, sino de una medida necesaria para garantizar el compromiso real de los cuerpos policiacos.
