Cristian Gael “N”, de 17 años fue asegurado por la policía municipal de Tijuana como presunto responsable de realizar detonaciones de arma de fuego en contra de agentes policiacos en la calle Kepler de la colonia Postal durante una operación de investigación. En el domicilio donde se atrincheró el menor de edad se decomisaron dos armas de fuego tipo pistola y una caja que contenía cartuchos útiles.
El incidente tuvo lugar en atención a un llamado de auxilio por parte de los elementos de la SSPCM, quienes se encontraban realizando labores de investigación preventiva en las inmediaciones de la calle Kepler, en la colonia Postal. Ante el riesgo para los propios elementos y la población en general, se movilizaron elementos de seguridad de los tres órdenes de gobierno hacia el domicilio del presunto agresor, quien se había atrincherado tras los disparos.

De acuerdo con los primeros reportes, el asegurado, identificado como Cristian Gael “N”, de 17 años, abrió fuego en varias ocasiones al percatarse de la presencia policial; afortunadamente, no se registraron lesionados entre los elementos de seguridad.
De acuerdo a la Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana Municipal, la captura del presunto responsable del ataque contra agentes fue realizada sin la necesidad de recurrir a herramientas de defensa, aplicando en todo momento los protocolos de intervención establecidos para este tipo de incidentes. La situación culminó con la entrega del agresor, quien se vio superado en número por los elementos de seguridad.

La Fiscalía General del Estado se encargará de llevar a cabo la investigación correspondiente para identificar los posibles delitos cometidos por el detenido y esclarecer los motivos de su conducta ante la presencia policial.
En el operativo participaron agentes de la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana Municipal de Tijuana apoyados por elementos de la Secretaría de la Defensa, la Secretaría de la Marina, la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana Federal, la Guardia Nacional, la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana del Estado y la Fiscalía General del Estado.
