Este miércoles 17 de diciembre falleció el periodista Raúl Reynoso Nuño en Mexicali, donde se encontraba hospitalizado en el Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Gobierno y Municipios del Estado de Baja California.
El ex director de Comunicación Social del gobierno estatal tenía 65 años y contaba con amplia trayectoria en el campo de la comunicación, en el que se desempeñó a nivel institucional, así como periodístico.

En diciembre de 2024 Reynoso Nuño estuvo en terapia intensiva en la capital de Baja California, requiriendo sangre tipo O Negativo. Durante la administración estatal de Francisco Vega de Lamadrid, en la que ocupó la Dirección de Comunicación Social, se sometió a un “chequeo” en un hospital de Tijuana, el cual arrojó que tenía “todos los niveles alterados”, según dio a conocer el mismo comunicador.
Raúl Reynoso Nuño nació en Tijuana el 20 de junio de 1960. Fue reportero televisivo y jefe de información en Síntesis-Tijuana; corresponsal de la Red Nacional Imevisión; director de Comunicación Social en la administración de Ernesto Ruffo Appel; gerente de XEAA Radio SA de México en Mexicali; director general de TV Azteca-Mexicali; director del programa Fuego Cruzado 1190 AM; gerente de ABC Radio-Mexicali; director de Información de Medios de los Estados durante el sexenio de Felipe Calderón Hinojosa; director general de Comunicación Social de la Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor, así como de la Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social; secretario de prensa del Comité Ejecutivo Nacional del PAN; asesor del Grupo Parlamentario del PAN en el Senado de la República; entre otros cargos.
