Con motivo de la celebración del Día de Muertos, este 1 y 2 de noviembre, el Ayuntamiento de Tijuana dio a conocer operativos de vigilancia en los 14 distintos panteones de la ciudad.
De acuerdo con Josué Octavio Gutiérrez Márquez, director de la Dirección de Servicios Públicos Municipales, estos operativos tienen como propósito garantizar la seguridad, el orden y la limpieza de dichos espacios.

El titular comentó que, como parte de la estrategia de seguridad y orden, se mantendrá una coordinación con la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana Municipal (SSPCM), con el propósito de realizar rondines preventivos y supervisar la movilidad ante la estimación de una afluencia de entre 200 y 300 mil personas repartidas en los diversos panteones.
Asimismo, Gutiérrez Márquez solicitó a la ciudadanía mantener los espacios libres de basura y evitar el consumo de bebidas alcohólicas, pues se trata de espacios públicos.

En donde además se destacó la limpieza de los 14 panteones, con la recolección de alrededor de 50 toneladas de basura y trabajos de reacondicionamiento para recibir a los visitantes durante estas fechas.
“El Día de Muertos es una celebración para recordar con respeto a nuestros seres queridos, por eso pedimos a los asistentes actuar con civismo, evitar ruidos excesivos y contribuir al buen ambiente familiar durante estas fechas”, expresó.

Como medida de movilidad, se informó que se implementarán autobuses en los panteones 12 y 13 para facilitar el acceso de los visitantes, ya que estos abarcan amplias extensiones y las distancias dentro de ellos pueden ser considerables.
Finalmente, la dirección señaló que los panteones permanecerán abiertos de 8:00 de la mañana a 4:00 de la tarde, mientras que el personal operativo continuará labores hasta las 6:00 de la tarde.
