Este domingo 19 de octubre el Partido Acción Nacional eligió miembros del Consejo Nacional de ese instituto político en Baja California además de ratificar la elección de 100 consejeros estatales, quienes fueron electos en las asambleas municipales celebradas el 28 de septiembre.
De un total de 10 candidatos, 650 militantes eligieron a quienes formarán parte del Consejo Nacional en representación de Baja California. Se trata de la exdiputada local Amintha Briceño, la regidora de Tijuana Sandra Magaña, la integrante de la XXV Legislatura Alejandrina Corral y la diputada federal Eva María Vázquez.

A su vez resultaron electos como consejeros nacionales el diputado local Diego Echevarría, el excandidato a la dirigencia municipal en Tijuana Julio Benítez, el exsecretario general del Comité Directivo Estatal Sergio Ramos y el regidor de Mexicali Manuel Rudecindo García.
En la votación celebrada en un hotel de la Zona Río de Tijuana y conforme a información proporcionada por personal de comunicación del Partido Acción Nacional Briceño obtuvo 270.42 puntos; Magaña, 237.63; Corral, 192.45; Vázquez, 147.42; Echevarría, 331.75; Benítez, 214.27; Ramos, 195.33; García, 188.69.

Figuraron como contendientes la dirigente municipal saliente en Mexicali, Vicky Quinónez, y el abogado panista Juan Marcos Gutiérrez, quienes obtuvieron puntuaciones de 33.03 y 40.15 respectivamente.
La ratificación de los consejeros estatales procedió en razón de que los integrantes de ese órgano de decisión electos el 28 de septiembre ya constituían el mínimo requerido de miembros, según explicó el tesorero del Comité Directivo Estatal, Christopher Domínguez Meraz.

En el acto celebrado este domingo también rindieron protesta los dirigentes municipales de 6 municipios de BC, electos el 28 de septiembre: Francisco Rueda, Myrna González y Enrique Lazcano, como presidentes de los Comités Directivos Municipales de Mexicali, Tijuana, Ensenada; Lucina Rodríguez, Yaquelin Valenzuela, Ana María Ambriz, quienes quedaron al frente de los CDM de Tecate, Rosarito, San Quintín.
En San Felipe se mantendrá la figura de delegado panista toda vez que para la asamblea municipal del 28 de septiembre no se inscribió una sola planilla.
La dirigente estatal del PAN, Lizbeth Mata Lozano, ponderó el programa de renovación partidista presentado el día de ayer por el presidente del Comité Ejecutivo Nacional, Jorge Romero Herrera.
“No se trata sólo de un cambio de logotipo, sino de una transformación profunda. Abrimos las puertas a los ciudadanos, tanto para que se registraran como miembros activos, como para participar en los procesos internos y en las candidaturas”, aseveró. (Eduardo Andrade Uribe)
