Diez nuevas rutas de recolección de basura fueron inauguradas en la colonia Riveras del Bosque, en Tijuana, luego de 22 años sin el servicio municipal debido a la falta de entrega del fraccionamiento, según informaron residentes.
“Son 10 nuevas rutas de basura, beneficiando 2 mil 750 viviendas, 2 escuelas primarias, 1 escuela secundaria; y aproximadamente 70 toneladas de basura diaria las que se van a recolectar”, expuso la titular de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Territorial, Urbano y Ambiental (SDTUA), Virginia Vargas.
Son alrededor de 22 mil habitantes en los fraccionamientos quienes serán beneficiados con las rutas: “es una reorganización de todo el equipo de limpia, es una de las tantas rutas que se van a aperturar”, agregó.
Además del servicio, también se realizaron trabajos de poda, recolección de basura pesada y colocación de señalética.
“Vamos a buscar el esquema jurídico para que se entreguen los fraccionamientos y en la siguiente administración quien quedé nobles quiera quitar la recolección de basura porque los fraccionamientos ya deberían estar entregados”, reiteró Ismael Burgueño Ruiz, alcalde de Tijuana.
En ese sentido, recordó que durante este 2025 se aperturarán 300 rutas más, es decir, 327 inauguradas durante este año.
