Tras 27 horas consecutivas de ardua labor por parte del cuerpo de bomberos de Tijuana, se logró extinguir en su totalidad el incendio registrado en una tarimera de grandes dimensiones ubicada en la calle García y Avenida Margaritas de la colonia Ojo de Agua.
Desde la tarde del viernes 30 de enero se reportó el incendio, al lugar se trasladaron 45 elementos tragahumo que implementaron diversas maniobras operativas para contener el fuego, con el objetivo de evitar su propagación a las viviendas aledañas.

Según se compartió no se reportaron personas lesionadas ni afectaciones mayores a la infraestructura de la zona. La rápida intervención del equipo de bomberos fue crucial para proteger los inmuebles cercanos y garantizar la seguridad de la comunidad.
Actualmente el siniestro fue sofocado en su totalidad, sin embargo, la Dirección de Bomberos recomienda a la población que reside en las proximidades del área donde se registró el incendio, evitar abrir puertas y ventanas, así como utilizar cubrebocas, ya que la calidad del aire es mala, debido a los contaminantes liberados durante el incendio, lo que podría suponer un riesgo para la salud de los habitantes.
