Este miércoles 3 de diciembre la gobernadora de Baja California, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, presentó durante su conferencia matutina el Plan Integral de Seguridad Navideño, un operativo conjunto en el que participarán los siete municipios de la entidad, para garantizar la seguridad durante las próximas fiestas decembrinas.
La gobernadora comentó que la estrategia responde a los patrones de movilidad propios de diciembre, cuando aumentan las actividades nocturnas, las posadas y las compras navideñas, lo que exige priorizar zonas de mayor afluencia Ciudadana, para reducir riesgos y mejorar la capacidad de respuesta ante incidentes.

“Esto es una estrategia integral que responde a las necesidades de la población durante estas fechas, sabemos que los ciudadanos salen de manera más frecuente a las posadas durante las noches y a las compras navideñas”, expresó la mandataria estatal.
Por su parte, el secretario de Seguridad Ciudadana, Laureano Carrillo Rodríguez, informó que se integró una fuerza de tarea centralizada con un puesto de mando permanente en el C5 de Tijuana, desde el cual se coordinarán con dependencias municipales, la Cruz Roja, Protección Civil y la Guardia Nacional.

Carrillo Rodríguez explicó que el operativo contempla la presencia coordinada de corporaciones estatales y municipales en zonas comerciales, bancarias, aeropuerto, carreteras áreas y recreativas como playas durante diciembre y los primeros días de enero, así como que el despliegue se desarrollará en fases para fortalecer la presencia policial, ajustar la atención en los puntos de mayor riesgo y evaluar resultados al cierre de la temporada.
Como parte del mega operativo, el secretario de Seguridad Estatal, advirtió que se reforzarán las revisiones para inhibir la venta irregular de pirotecnia en coordinación con los municipios, con el fin de aplicar la ley y prevenir accidentes en espacios públicos y hogares, ante el incremento de estos artículos durante las fiestas decembrinas.

En cuanto a la fuerza policial destinada al operativo, el secretario de Seguridad mencionó que son 2 mil elementos, de los cuales mil 300 son municipales y estatales, y 700 son agentes federales, tanto de la Guardia Nacional, la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena), como de la Secretaría de Marina (Semar).
