En una pelea intensa, Santiago González se mantiene invicto luego de derrotar a Diego Corona por decisión unánime en la función de Promociones León que se disputó este sábado 18 de octubre en la Arena Tecate.
Ambos púgiles que no habían conocido la derrota protagonizaron un gran combate en medio de un ambiente que tuvo porras para ambas esquinas.

Durante 8 rounds, los boxeadores mostraron sus dotes boxisticos alentando al público que llenó la Arena.
Al final , los jueces determinaron el triunfo para González con tarjetas a su favor de 77-75, 78-74 y 79-73.

“Me siento muy contento porque pude mantener el invicto, está pelea va dedica para alguien que tengo en el cielo que es mi abuelo, Rigoberto Morales. Ahora vamos por más primeramente Dios”, declaró “Santi” González.
El púgil tijuanense que coloco su record en 7-0 con tres nocauts confesó que la pelea no fue sencilla, ya que su oponente fue un digno rival.

“Sabíamos que no sería una pelea fácil, se me complicó un poco, pero supimos salir adelante. Mis respetos para mí rival. Al final del día el público fue el ganador, al que agradezco por su apoyo”, afirmó González quien espera cerrar el año con una pelea más.
“SI dios quiere regresamos en Diciembre por qué buscamos un título esa es mi meta, porque dicen que no hay sueño tan grande, así que vamos por eso”, finalizó “Santi”.
