El director de la Policía Municipal de Mexicali, Luis Felipe Chan, reconoció que se enteró a través de redes sociales sobre la colocación de una manta que fue instalada en el Hospital General durante la tarde del lunes.

El propio titular comentó que dicho mensaje era completamente ajeno a los que se han colocado en diversas narcomantas en meses anteriores, en las que se hace alusión a dejar de realizar cualquier tipo de actividad por parte de la autoridad. En esta ocasión, se trata únicamente de un mensaje relacionado con el funcionamiento de la instancia médica.
“Nosotros nos enteramos por redes sociales de la colocación de esta manta, nunca fue notificado al 911. Yo envié una unidad porque vi la publicación que se hizo en una página y nosotros no tenemos conocimiento de esto. El personal administrativo retira esta manta y la guarda”.

Señaló que el guardia de seguridad intentó impedir la colocación del mensaje; sin embargo, las personas involucradas le dijeron que no se metiera, por lo que optó por retirarse del lugar. Ahora será la Fiscalía General del Estado la que continuará con las investigaciones correspondientes.
Fue la tarde del pasado lunes cuando se colocó dicha manta, en la que se hacía alusión a que “El Ruso”, presunto líder de un grupo delictivo conocido como “Los Rusos”, dotara de medicamentos e insumos a la propia instancia médica, ya que la autoridad estatal no lo estaba haciendo.

Por otra parte, con respecto a las distintas mantas que han sido colocadas en Mexicali, en las que terminan firmando en conjunto la célula delictiva conocida como La Chapiza y el Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación, solo se limitó a decir que en las mesas de seguridad no se ha podido determinar si realmente existe una alianza entre estos dos grupos. No obstante, se está investigando dicha situación.
